That's why there isn't much of it (sorry friends! ; ). The name of this "Grand Cru" location comes from the spelling of Reisenberg from the 12th century. The exposed prime location consists of loess soil with layers of lime, iron and water permeable clay. The fascinating thing about the wines from Reysenperg is their delicate elegance and simultaneous complexity perfect for Pinot Noir.
