Production stopped around 1850 and the distillery fell into disrepair. In 1872 only ruins remained. Plans for a new distillery not far from the site of the old facility only emerged in 2011. Whiskey production started in January 2013. Wolfburn 10 Year Old Sherry Cask matured completely in second fill Oloroso sherry casks . Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol,
