We've cleaned them and coated the skis with a thin application of clear natural shellac which will keep any further deterioration from happening (and won't flake or leave debris on your floor or wall)

In 1955 the first "Hart" metal-edged ski was introduced

Some references refer to them as Alpenstocks but from our research an Alpenstock typically referred to a walking or mountaineering stick not typically used for skiing. This push stick has been recently decommissioned from our museum collection
