The double edged etched blade measures 19 inches in length with an overall length of 24 4 8 inches and a width of 1 3 8 inches. Made by Robert Mole & Sons Birmingham, England and so marked. There are traces of gold and white paint throughout the patina, which may indicate having been previously displayed in a G. A. R hall.
